Connection Program

Seniors have the opportunity to share their wisdom – stories, experiences, and lessons –, with youth, and members of the community. This program offers events and ongoing mentorship opportunities for adults and youth to be encouraged, empowered, and taught by elders in their own community. Topics and facilitated activities will integrate generations for positive influence, restoring respect for elders, and overall community restoration and improvement.

Our organization also collaborates with various schools to foster intergenerational connections through the art of letter writing. By facilitating correspondence between the elderly and children, we bring joy and companionship to seniors who may not have grandchildren of their own, providing them with the comforting reassurance that they are cherished as honorary grandparents. The impact of this initiative is truly remarkable.
